“Roller” kit (Porsche356 or VW configuration)
The definition “Roller” could be understood in many ways. Let us help you to understand the meaning about our Roller kit.
The Roller Kit includes everything from the Body/Chassis Kit plus installed suspension, steering and brake system. The brake system is pre-installed but not connected as, by Florida Law, we as a kit car builder are not allowed to install it, unless we are contracting a third party to do this for you. Wheels are also not included in this kit but can be ordered separately.
For those “Do it yourself mechanics” we are offering those parts ready to install in a box. We will give you the respective discount.
This is a way for you to economize and we can spend this time to go ahead with other projects.
Here a list with all included options:
Suspension:
- Front upper and lower trailing arms.
- All necessary, washers, bolts, nuts, bearings and spacers.
- Kingpin spindles.
- KONI shock absorber modified to original specifications.
- Sway bar and linkages.
- Front and special graded rear torsion bars.
- All rubber bushings.
- Torsion bar caps.
- Overhauled SPLITCASE transmission with axles.
- Torsion bar housing for height adjustment.
Brake system:
- Front and rear brakes. Drums=356, Discs=VW.
- Backing plates and brake pads.
- All brake lines installed but not connected.
- Brake splitter.
- Brake and clutch cylinder installed.
Steering system:
- Steering shaft and housing.
- Steering and tie rods.
- Steering box and coupler.
- Rubber bushings
